A clear scope before you ship
The quote defines the available service, inclusions and exclusions. Rates, transit estimates, duties and final acceptance are confirmed for your specific shipment.
Compare cost to the same delivery point
When comparing full-container (FCL) and shared-container (LCL) options, use the same package list and collection and delivery points. Separate transport from consolidation, handling, storage and address delivery. If one quote ends at the port and the other at your address, identify the missing stages before choosing.
Example: volume does not describe the whole shipment
Three crates, each measuring 120 × 80 × 100 cm after packing, have a combined geometric volume of 2.88 m³. Also provide each crate’s weight, whether other packages may be stacked on it, and how it can be loaded. This example explains the calculation; it does not determine booked space, chargeable weight or freight price.

Full-container planning
Provide the final package list, gross weight, volume and loading restrictions. Ask which container option can be assessed and whether loading, securing and unloading are included.
Shared-container planning
For LCL enquiries, share each package’s dimensions and stacking limits. Compare origin and destination handling as well as main freight, and ask about the proposed handover points.
Release a multi-supplier batch
Agree the supplier cutoff and the list of orders included. Confirm final packing measurements and documents before release; late arrivals may need a revised plan.
