Your destination, in detail
Choose your arrival city carefully; the distance to the final address affects inland transport arrangements. Share weight and volume to assess the route.
Delivery cities to specify
Muscat, Sohar, Salalah. For another city, include the exact delivery address in your request. Coverage is confirmed in your quote.
Choose the right freight option
Sea freight for larger volumes, air freight for time-sensitive cargo, or express services for eligible parcels. If buying from several Chinese suppliers, request consolidation and packing before dispatch.
Documents and service scope
Prepare a commercial invoice, packing list and consignee information for review. The team confirms route availability, import requirements and whether delivery, clearance, duties or taxes are included.
Look up product requirements with Oman Customs
Oman’s Directorate General of Customs provides a search entry point for import, export and transit requirements, including permits, restrictions and other agencies’ procedures. Prepare the precise product name, material and intended use, then review the result with the importer or representative to confirm it matches the actual goods. Record any requirements needing clarification before agreeing dispatch. Reference reviewed: 2026-09-29.
Specify the wilayat and address beyond the arrival point
Provide the governorate, wilayat and final address in Oman, with the recipient location and available access instructions. Do not use only a port or airport name if delivery is needed elsewhere. If the site needs a particular vehicle or unloading equipment, state this early so the last stage and its cost can be reviewed.
Put these details to use
A clearer plan before you quote
Be specific about the city
Provide the city and final address, not only the country. Inland delivery scope may vary with the address and cargo type.
Compare delivery scopes
Specify whether you want collection at an agreed arrival point or delivery to your address, and ask for handling and unloading to be clarified.
