Create a component-level list
List panels, inverters, mounting hardware, chargers and storage units as separate products. Give model numbers, quantities and packed dimensions. Identify which products contain batteries and which are shipped without them.
Submit battery information early
For any battery shipment, request chemistry, capacity, configuration, condition and available transport documentation from the manufacturer. The transport provider must review the actual cargo before acceptance. Do not assume that a route available for panels also accepts storage batteries.
Plan breakage protection and delivery
Panels require clear crate or pallet dimensions and handling orientation. Identify fragile surfaces and whether the cargo can be stacked. Confirm delivery access, unloading responsibility and whether an installation team will receive the goods. Installation is a separate scope to discuss.
