Match the part before dispatch
Record the manufacturer, part number, vehicle model and model year for every line. Keep left/right variants and full kits separate. Ask for photos of labels and contents within the agreed inspection scope; visual checks do not establish fitment or performance.
Bulky accessories and mixed orders
Roof racks, bumpers and side steps need packed dimensions for each piece. Identify sharp edges, protrusions and stacking restrictions. For several suppliers, use an order reference on each carton and agree whether retail packaging must be retained.
Disclose components needing review
List batteries, airbags, oils, aerosols and any used parts separately. Provide the product condition and available manufacturer information before a route is proposed. Do not pack undeclared components inside another item. Agree the delivery city and workshop unloading arrangements.

Example: a kit arriving in several cartons
If one kit is packed across two cartons, identify both the kit and each carton separately. Linking them helps reveal a missing component before approving dispatch. This is a preparation example, not confirmation of vehicle fitment.
- Record kit reference KIT-01 and link cartons KIT-01-A and KIT-01-B to it.
- Ask the supplier for each carton’s contents, including brackets, fasteners and accessories.
- If only one carton arrives, mark the kit incomplete and name who decides whether to wait or dispatch part of it.
